For a Bangalore-to-Varanasi case, we arrange pickup, required preparation, BLR airport reporting, an accepted VNS movement and guidance for release at Varanasi Airport, followed by road transport to the final address when required.
For most cases we check the nonstop BLR (Bangalore) → VNS (Varanasi) sector. VNS is Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport at Babatpur. After the required preparation in Bangalore and acceptance for the flight, the coffin is released on the cargo side and then moved by road to the final address in Varanasi or nearby areas.
Current nonstop passenger operators to VNS: Air India Express, Akasa Air, IndiGo and SpiceJet. Passenger-seat availability does not confirm human-remains cargo acceptance.
Bangalore-side reporting follows the accepting airline's cargo instructions.
Also called Varanasi Airport or Babatpur Airport in common use.
Approximate great-circle route between BLR and VNS.
Preparation, cargo reporting, release and road transfer are additional.

Keep the applicable death or medical document and identification ready. For the air cases we coordinate, embalming and coffin/packing certificates are required; MLC or postmortem cases also need the applicable police clearance/NOC and postmortem papers.
Full Bangalore document guideAt Varanasi, the passenger terminal and cargo handling are not the same collection point. The cargo complex is separate from the terminal area, so the receiver should follow the exact handler or release instruction shared for the accepted movement.
Name, phone number and identification should be ready before the BLR movement is finalised.
The receiver should not wait at the normal arrival gate unless the airline or handler specifically instructs otherwise.
Human-remains cargo is subject to prior airline or handler approval. We confirm the workable movement before sending the coffin to BLR cargo.
Godowlia, Chowk and ghat-side locations can require more time after the airport release because the inner-city access is tighter than the highway approach.
Road transportation can be arranged after cargo release. These are practical planning buffers, not fixed driving promises; the final address, traffic, local diversions and old-city lane restrictions can change the last stretch substantially.

Plan roughly 15–40 minThe railway-station belt and central-city traffic can slow the handover during peak hours.
Plan roughly 35–75 minThe last approach can be slower here due to narrow roads, market congestion and local access limits.
Plan roughly 50–110 minCross-city movement toward the university and Assi side needs a wider buffer than the straight airport distance suggests.
Plan roughly 45–90 minThese addresses are usually easier than the old-city ghats, but traffic still changes by time of day.
Plan roughly 30–65 minWhen the destination sits outside the city core, the road leg is quoted according to the actual address and vehicle plan.
Plan case-by-caseIf the destination is Varanasi city, the ghat side, BHU or Sarnath, changing the airport often adds another road problem instead of solving one. We first check the next workable VNS movement. A different airport is considered only when the final district is actually outside Varanasi or another accepted routing is more practical.

For Babatpur, Cantt, the old city, Assi, BHU and Sarnath, VNS remains the natural destination airport because it avoids an unnecessary extra highway transfer.
When the destination is in Varanasi itself, a later accepted VNS movement is often better than changing airports. If the final address is actually toward Prayagraj, Mirzapur or a similar side corridor, we can compare whether a separately accepted movement to another airport makes more sense than releasing at VNS and driving back out.
The accepted airport and the final district are compared together; another airport is never assumed automatically. If the shipment is booked and accepted to VNS, the receiver follows the VNS release instruction. If another destination airport is separately accepted, the receiver follows that airport's cargo instruction instead.
We compare the accepted flight, release process and final road distance before confirming the route. For Varanasi-city cases, VNS normally remains the first choice. We shift the airport plan only when the accepted routing and the real final destination clearly justify it.

The Bangalore air package is calculated within the included packed-cargo band up to 100 kg for eligible movements. The final quote is checked before work starts.
Final packed weight above the included band, airline cargo rate, case-specific requirements and road transportation after VNS. The Varanasi road leg is quoted according to the final address and vehicle requirement.
The final address matters because Babatpur, Cantt, Godowlia, BHU, Assi and Sarnath all require different road planning after the airport release.
