Cremation methods
Swarg Vatika has an LPG-based cremation facility and uses Gowcast as an alternative pyre material. Tell your coordinator if your family specifically requires wood or an electric furnace.
An LPG furnace uses gas. If the family asks for electric cremation, establish the actual furnace type before booking. Swargayatraa checks the selected method and shares the reporting instructions.
Gowcast is a cow-dung-based cremation material. If your family wants a traditional wood pyre, specify that requirement and agree the available material, quantity and charges in the quotation.
Timings & cremation charges
The crematorium’s admission schedule is separate from Swargayatraa’s 24-hour assistance. Arrange the reporting time for your chosen method before dispatch.
Ask the receiving ground for its current opening hours and last admission time. Allow for document checks, waiting and family rituals before cremation begins.
If hospital release is delayed, contact your coordinator to revise the arrival plan and discuss preservation where necessary.
For an independent visit, request the ground’s current tariff for the furnace or pyre, including materials and any additional charges. Keep the itemised payment receipt.
For a Swargayatraa package, the quotation identifies the included crematorium charges, transport, priest, materials and assistance.

Booking, documents & arrival
Keep one family member responsible for the papers and arrival details. Your Swargayatraa coordinator manages the service arrangements and explains what the receiving ground needs.
Tell us where the deceased is, the preferred date and method, and any priest, language or ritual requirements. We explain the arrangement and quotation.
Keep the deceased’s identity proof and medical or hospital release papers together. For a medico-legal case, follow the police and hospital release instructions. Ask which originals and copies the ground needs.
The driver and family receive the destination and reporting instructions. Tell the coordinator about wheelchair access, walking assistance or parking needs in advance.
Retain the cremation acknowledgement and payment receipt. Ask who may collect the ashes, when to return, and what identification or container to bring.
Family access & aftercare
Tell us about access needs and relatives arriving separately. A shared plan helps the family reach the correct place without repeated calls.
Ask about the hearse unloading point, accompanying-car parking, seating, drinking water and toilet access. Mention step-free access or wheelchair requirements before arrival.
Collection timing depends on the method and the ground’s instructions. Nominate the family member collecting the ashes and keep the receipt available.
The cremation acknowledgement and registered death certificate are separate documents. Follow the relevant civil-registration authority’s process, and check that the name and date match across the family’s papers.
Ask Swargayatraa about freezer preservation if the funeral is delayed. Ash immersion, post-funeral rites and transport to another city are arranged and quoted separately.
