Bangalore → Delhi route

A high-frequency route with more than one cargo decision.

Dead body air transport from Bangalore to Delhi normally uses the nonstop BLR (Bangalore) → DEL (Delhi) sector after the required preparation is completed in Bangalore. Current nonstop schedules take about 2 hours 40 minutes; the actual departure is confirmed only after the human-remains shipment is accepted for that flight.

Current nonstop passenger operators: Air India, Air India Express, Akasa Air and IndiGo. Passenger availability does not confirm human-remains cargo acceptance.

Arrival at DEL (Delhi)

Do not follow the passenger terminal. Follow the cargo release point.

Delhi Airport has T1, T2 and T3 for passenger operations, but a coffin is not collected from passenger baggage reclaim. DEL uses a large cargo complex with different terminal and handler arrangements, so the receiver should use the exact release instruction shared for the accepted movement.

Delhi cargo area: Cargo Complex / Air Cargo Complex, Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi – 110037. The exact terminal, gate or handler is confirmed against the airline handling the shipment.
Need the Bangalore-side reporting sequence? See BLR cargo reporting and acceptance.
Receiver details fixed before departure

Name, phone number and identification should be ready before the BLR movement is finalised.

T1 / T2 / T3 is not the release answer

A relative's passenger terminal does not tell you where the human-remains shipment will be released.

Handler instruction comes first

Delhi has more than one cargo facility. We share the available cargo terminal or handler instruction before departure.

Vehicle waits for release, not landing

Aircraft arrival and cargo release are separate events. Keep a road-time buffer before fixing the final handover.

Road transport after DEL

Delhi Airport is close to some areas. NCR can take much longer.

Road transportation can be arranged after cargo release. These are practical planning buffers, not fixed driving promises; peak-hour traffic and the final address can change the journey sharply.

Airport ring

Aerocity · Mahipalpur · Vasant Kunj · Dwarka

Useful for families receiving close to IGI Airport or moving toward west/south-west Delhi.

Plan roughly 15–40 min
South + central Delhi

AIIMS · Safdarjung · Saket · Lajpat Nagar · Connaught Place

Traffic on the Ring Road, Dhaula Kuan and central approaches can change the road time considerably.

Plan roughly 35–75 min
West + north Delhi

Janakpuri · Rajouri Garden · Punjabi Bagh · Rohini · Pitampura

West Delhi is relatively direct from the airport; north Delhi needs a wider city-traffic buffer.

Plan roughly 35–85 min
Gurugram

Udyog Vihar · DLF · MG Road · Sector roads

NH-48 is the main airport approach. Sector location and office-hour traffic make a large difference.

Plan roughly 30–70 min
East Delhi + Noida

Mayur Vihar · Anand Vihar · Noida sectors

The cross-city road leg can be longer than expected even when the flight lands on time.

Plan roughly 60–100 min
Faridabad + Ghaziabad

Faridabad sectors · Indirapuram · Vaishali · Ghaziabad

These are outer-NCR road movements. Share the exact sector before the receiving vehicle is dispatched.

Plan roughly 75–120+ min
Do not fix cremation or gathering time from the scheduled landing time. DEL cargo release and Delhi/NCR traffic both sit between aircraft arrival and the final address.
If DEL is not workable

For Delhi city, a later DEL movement is usually better than a distant diversion.

DELDelhi

Check the next accepted IGI movement first

BLR → DEL has very frequent nonstop passenger service. If one human-remains movement is not workable, another accepted DEL option may still be more practical than adding a long road journey.

Passenger frequency helps route choice, but cargo acceptance is checked separately.
HDOGhaziabad

Hindon can make sense for east NCR

BLR (Bangalore) currently has a daily nonstop passenger service to HDO (Ghaziabad). It is worth checking only when the final address is on the Ghaziabad/east-NCR side and the required human-remains handling is accepted.

Do not book HDO from passenger availability alone; handling and release must be confirmed first.
JAI / IXCJaipur / Chandigarh

Only when the final address changes the geography

BLR has nonstop passenger flights to JAI (Jaipur) and IXC (Chandigarh), but neither is a sensible substitute for a Delhi-city destination. They are considered only when the actual final address is closer to Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab or the northern NCR edge.

For a Delhi-city handover, the next accepted DEL movement normally remains the cleaner option.

Alternative-airport planning is based on the final destination, road distance and confirmed human-remains acceptance—not on which passenger ticket appears first.

Bangalore → Delhi price

Starting from ₹29,999. Delhi/NCR road transfer is added only when needed.

Coffin packing
Starting package
₹29,999

The Bangalore air package is calculated within the included packed-cargo band up to 100 kg for eligible movements. The final quote is checked before work starts.

What can change the final amount?

Final packed weight above the included band, airline cargo rate, case-specific requirements and road transportation after DEL. The Delhi/NCR road leg is quoted according to the final address and vehicle requirement.

Before we check the flight

Share the Bangalore pickup and final Delhi or NCR address.

The final address matters because a Delhi-city handover, Gurugram, Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad need different road plans after DEL release.

Bangalore → Delhi questions

What families usually need to know before DEL arrival.

The Bangalore hub carries the full document, preparation and cargo guides. These answers stay with the BLR → DEL route and the Delhi-side handover.

Can a dead body be transported by flight from Bangalore to Delhi?
Yes, subject to the required preparation and an airline or handler accepting the human-remains shipment. BLR (Bangalore) to DEL (Delhi) has frequent nonstop passenger service, but passenger-seat availability does not confirm cargo acceptance.
How long is the Bangalore to Delhi flight?
Current nonstop schedules are about 2 hours 40 minutes for the roughly 1,708 km BLR–DEL sector. Preparation, Bangalore cargo reporting, Delhi cargo release and the final road journey are additional.
Which airlines currently fly nonstop from Bangalore to Delhi?
Current nonstop passenger schedules list Air India, Air India Express, Akasa Air and IndiGo. The human-remains shipment still has to be accepted separately for the required date and flight.
Which airport is used in Delhi?
The destination airport is DEL (Delhi) — Indira Gandhi International Airport. Families may also hear it called Delhi Airport or IGI Airport.
Should the receiver go to Terminal 1, Terminal 2 or Terminal 3?
Do not use the passenger terminal as the collection instruction. Human-remains release follows the cargo terminal or ground-handler arrangement for the accepted movement. The receiver should use the exact cargo reporting point shared before departure from Bangalore.
What documents should be ready before the BLR airport movement?
Keep the applicable death or medical document and identification ready. For the air cases we coordinate, embalming and coffin/packing certificates are required. MLC or postmortem cases also need the applicable police clearance/NOC and postmortem papers.
Can you arrange road transport from DEL to Gurugram, Noida or other NCR areas?
Yes. Road transportation can be arranged after DEL release to Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad and other NCR addresses. The road leg is quoted separately according to the final address and vehicle requirement.
What if no workable DEL movement is available at the required time?
Because BLR–DEL has frequent nonstop service, the next accepted DEL movement is normally the first option to check for a Delhi-city destination. HDO (Ghaziabad) can be considered for some east-NCR cases when human-remains handling is accepted. JAI (Jaipur) or IXC (Chandigarh) make sense only when the actual final address is geographically closer to those airports.
