Reporting follows preparation and document checks.
Dead Body Transport by Air from Bangalore to Patna.
We coordinate the journey from the deceased's location in Bangalore through embalming, coffin preparation and BLR (Bangalore) airline handling, then guide the Patna handover and arrange onward road transportation when the final address is in Patna or another part of Bihar.
The body can move by flight. The cargo plan must be confirmed first.
The deceased travels as a prepared human-remains shipment, not passenger baggage. Embalming, coffin packing, documents and airline acceptance are completed before the BLR (Bangalore) → PAT (Patna) movement is treated as confirmed.
See the complete Bangalore air-transport serviceReceiver instructions are confirmed for the accepted movement.
Air-sector distance between BLR (Bangalore) and PAT (Patna).
A direct accepted movement is preferred when workable.
From Bangalore pickup to Patna road handover.
We keep the sequence simple: documents, preparation, BLR (Bangalore) acceptance, flight, Patna handover and the final road leg when required.
Bangalore to Patna air movement from ₹29,999.
The ₹29,999 starting package covers the core Bangalore preparation and air-cargo scope within the included weight band. Bihar road transfer is added only when required.
Final cost depends on packed weight, the accepting airline, routing on the required date, pickup requirement and any Patna/Bihar road leg.
What can change the final amount?
- Final packed weight above 100 kg: the coffin and packing count toward airline chargeable weight.
- Patna/Bihar road transfer: quoted according to the final destination and vehicle requirement.
- Passenger ticket: separate from the human-remains movement.
- Airline or routing change: cargo tariff and handling can differ by the workable movement available.
Flight time is about 2½ hours. The full transfer takes longer.
Plan the complete movement, not only the scheduled flight. These are practical ranges and can change with documents, airline cut-offs and Patna release.
Embalming, certificates and coffin packing.
Airport transfer, reporting, weighing and acceptance.
±10 mins
Approx. nonstop flying time; human-remains acceptance is separate.
Arrival handling and authorised collection buffer.
Added according to the final town, area and traffic.
Confirm the Patna handover point before BLR (Bangalore) departure.
The receiver should not assume the passenger baggage belt or a fixed public cargo counter. We confirm the airline/handler instruction for the accepted movement and share it before departure.
Keep a reachable phone number and requested ID ready.
Collection instructions are shared for the actual accepted movement.
Do not schedule only from the passenger-flight landing time.
Handling, documents and Patna traffic can shift the final road departure.
Patna airport coverage and onward Bihar road time.
These are practical road-planning bands after PAT (Patna) handover. Allow extra time for Patna traffic, bridge congestion and weather.
Sheikhpura, Khajpura, Phulwari Sharif, Anisabad
Close-airport destinations with a short road leg after release.
Plan roughly 15–30 min after releasePatliputra, Danapur, Boring Road, Fraser Road
Usually a short city transfer, but peak-hour traffic can change the ETA.
Plan roughly 20–50 minPatna Junction, Kankarbagh, Rajendra Nagar, Patna City
Allow a larger buffer for central and east-Patna traffic.
Plan roughly 30–70 minSonpur, Hajipur, Vaishali
The Ganga crossing can add significant time, especially during busy hours.
Plan roughly 1–2 hr+Arrah / Ara and nearby Bhojpur areas
Plan this as a separate intercity road leg after Patna release.
Plan roughly 1.5–2.5 hrBihar Sharif, Nalanda, Rajgir
Useful PAT (Patna) road corridor for Bihar Sharif, Nalanda and Rajgir.
Plan roughly 2–3.5 hrMuzaffarpur
Allow for bridge and Patna–Hajipur corridor traffic.
Plan roughly 2–3.5 hrGaya and Bodh Gaya side
For Gaya or Bodh Gaya, compare GAY (Gaya) Airport before fixing PAT (Patna).
Plan roughly 2.5–4 hr from PAT (Patna)Share the exact town or village before flight booking
We compare the accepted air route with the final road leg before booking.
Road quote after destination is confirmedCheck another airport only when the final Bihar route improves.
A passenger seat at another airport is not enough. We compare human-remains acceptance, the flight routing and the road leg to the family's final address.
Strong option for north Bihar
Current BLR (Bangalore) → DBR (Darbhanga) passenger schedules include a nonstop service of about 2 hrs 35 mins. It can be more practical for Darbhanga, Madhubani, Samastipur and some north-Bihar destinations.
Human-remains acceptance must still be confirmed for the actual date.Better geography for Gaya / Bodh Gaya
BLR (Bangalore) → GAY (Gaya) currently requires a connection on normal passenger schedules. For a south-Bihar final address, it may still reduce the road leg if a workable accepted movement is available.
Do not use a passenger connection as proof that the coffin can transfer through it.Consider for western Bihar
Current BLR (Bangalore) → VNS (Varanasi) passenger schedules include nonstop flights of about 2 hrs 20 mins. It may suit Buxar, Kaimur or Rohtas-side destinations better than routing back through Patna.
For Patna city itself, PAT (Patna) remains the preferred arrival when an accepted movement is available.
Check the case type before embalming and airport movement.
Airline requirements can differ. We check the selected movement before BLR (Bangalore) reporting so missing medical, police or postmortem papers are identified early.
Natural / normal death
- Medical death document / MCCD as applicable
- Embalming certificate
- Coffin / packing certificate
- Deceased and receiver identification as requested
- Police / authority clearance when applicable to the case or requested for the movement
MLC / postmortem case
- Applicable medical death documentation
- FIR / relevant police papers
- Postmortem certificate / report as applicable
- Police NOC / transportation clearance
- Embalming, coffin and identification documents
The coffin is prepared for road, handling and flight.
For air cases we coordinate, embalming and the required coffin preparation are completed before airline reporting. The final packed weight—not only body weight—is relevant to cargo pricing.

Passenger tickets and human-remains cargo are separate bookings.
Can relatives travel on the same BLR (Bangalore)–PAT (Patna) flight?
Yes, if seats are available. A passenger ticket does not confirm space or acceptance for the coffin.
Is an escort compulsory?
Airline rules differ. Escort and relationship-proof requirements are checked for the accepted movement.
Who should receive at Patna?
Name one authorised receiver before departure and keep their phone number and requested ID ready.
When should the Bihar vehicle report?
Schedule the vehicle around the confirmed PAT (Patna) release window, not only the flight landing time.
Move to the next workable option.
A passenger delay or cancellation does not automatically decide a human-remains booking. We re-check the accepted movement first.
Full flight-change and cancellation guidanceUse the next suitable service when acceptance and timing still work.
Check DBR (Darbhanga), GAY (Gaya) or VNS (Varanasi) only when the accepted air route and final road leg make sense.
If air is no longer practical, interstate road transport can be quoted separately.
Share the Bangalore pickup and final Bihar address.
Share the final Bihar address, case type, documents, approximate weight and receiver details. We check the air and road legs together.
